Now I'm wondering how many other people are missing out on this delicious fruit. I only hope the first one you try isn't a grim one or it will put you off....

I think they taste lovely. You have to be sure to wash/wipe the outside thoroughly though because you can't peel them. I prefer them when they are very ripe and juicy.

A sharon fruit is a lovely thing which looks like a strange yellow tomato and tastes delicious.

Your point about organic farming holds equally well regarding GM crops.
