If the tills aren't working correctly and short-changing by £4 , that's made me more determined to stick to Asda .

To celebrate their opening Tesco have joined with the Accrington Observer to give vouchers to those who win a quiz .

The trouble is you have to be a genius to win . I doubt if Accrington's own...

Good photos Atarah , but I much preferred the area when there was a busy railway station , a thriving Howard and Bullough , a bridge carrying the railway track to Manchester , and Scaitcliffe Pit .

I have been proved wrong .

There is a relatively short mention of it in a poor article on the effects of the government cuts .

I agree , but I bet there is no mention of it in our " local " rag the Accrington Observer .

I hope I am proved wrong .
