Had a reply this morning indicating that HBC's Enforcement Officer was not aware of any enforcement notice on the Black Dog. :confused::confused:

A little strange since the report was prepared...

Have just fired an email off to HBC's Enforcement Officer requesting a view of enforcement notice 85 - Black Dog pub, we will see if I get an answer on Monday. (will be very interesting)

I don't think HBC would issue an enforcement notice on the strength of a few complaints. The complaints are normally made before the plans are passed, it may be that someone has seen the plans and...

That's true, not a good idea, but HBC would not issue an enforcement notice for that, it would need to be a breach of the conditions attached to the planning permission.

I don't know if they would let you look at the enforcement notice, but a look at the plans with the application may show why, like floor area etc. Don't think it would be a good idea to ask the...

There has been 2 planning applications, the 1st one being turned down by HBC, kate's links on the applications are all changed, but have found the second application

Not seen this weeks observer yet, does it give any indication as to the problem. The enforcement report indicates a breach of planning approval. Have to dig a little deeper in to the applications...

No not guilty kate. Went past the Black Dog the other day and noted that the dwarf walls had been capped off, and thought there must be a problem.

Second application indicates, lean to, flagged floor, boundary wall. Does not include a "glass canopy" seems a little vague don't you think.

I am very surprised that HBC planning are allowing the smoking shelter to be built at the front of the pub, and on a main road :confused:

On the subject of pubs, what are they building at the front of the Black Dog, a smoking shelter, or are they creating a beer garden at the front of the pub ?
