me memories not what it was mate, but can always remember Leo, he was a top geezer, one of the best landlords i ever came across,bit strict but 100% fair,great sense of humour.;)

wheatsheaf was a thwaites house just around corner from mecca, the Dun Horse was further up on otherside of road. wrong again lol that was the Old Bank, Dun Horse was just off one of them off mincing...

assuming i got wires crossed n twas " Sames" just below the sun carry on down,n just past "Darwen St" on right hand side going down, near enough across from woolies corner.i reckon.

was just a couple of doors below the "Sun" on the same street/road, defo, was well trashed in those days, but remember going in when i was ejected from the "Sun" one night, n ya had to be real classy...

yer talking the sawdust on the floor days, ferget the street name, but the "Sun" thwaites house was just above n the "Swan" duttons house just above that on the corner, if any of those pubs are still...
