Normally if your house lights fuse, there's still the glow from the street lights, but it really was pitch black last night.

I felt like Audrey Hepburn in 'Wait Until Dark', scambling around...

That's what they're trying to say. I doubt very much the land was given to the water authority by the farmer.

Yet again another amenity vanishes.

If it goes again, we should storm the Civic Theatre, and seek refuge.

I've printed off some Vera Lynn songs, and have a spare gas mask if anyone needs it.

It's not until it's off, that you realise just how much we take electricity for granted.

Time just drags, no wonder there was a baby boom, following the power cuts in the seventies.:D

My friends in Gran Canaria called my mobile, my landline being down, and I told them we were having another power cut, the second since the earthquake. They killed themselves...
