If you saying the building with the 'J' is Barnes Furniture, The curve in the road of the sketch shows it to be in Cannon St. where Barnes used to be, before they moved into bigger premises in Church...

Cashy, You are on the right track but I believe "The Little Crown" was just around the corner of Church/Cannon St facing the Bridge.
From memory, and i stand to be corrected it was very close to...
