I would imagine that, like most people, she didn't think that sending the lad to school with a can of Lemonade Shandy would cause him to fall foul of a no alcohol rule. And now she knows, she's not...

It's a good job they didn't actually say no beer, as by your pedantically literal interpretation of the rules, there'd be kids arriving at school with bottles of vodka stuffed in their blazer...

Yes, I also, accidentally drank some, recently, when the barmaid gave me the wrong drink...a horrendous experience! :eek:

MAYBE???...do you honestly think there's a chance you'd be prosecuted for drinking a non-licensed drink in an alcohol prohibited area?

Like most people, I would assume that zero tolerance on alcohol applies to beers, ciders, lagers, alcopops, spirits, wines...in fact, all the products which can only be sold on licensed premises to...

Zero tolerance is all well and good, but only when it's tempered with a modicum of common sense.
