Hello everyone, and welcome to the new AccringtonWeb! After more than 20 years on the same software, the forum has moved to a new home and been upgraded. It should feel familiar, and it now works properly on phones and tablets too. Everything has come across, from the very first post in 2003 to...

You should really just advise people to buy wise, just as when buying anything. I sell high capacity stuff on ebay (picked up from my travels) and its all good stuff, don't expect it to be cheap though!

Due to it being thanksgiving holidays here in the good old US of A right now, I may get time to upgrade the forum software. I've done a fair bit of prep work so hopefully when I do pull the plug, the site shouldn't be down for more than about 8 hours! I plan to start this tomorrow evening...

Once again it is time to move to a new server! This time we are moving countries as well! We will no longer be hosted in the USA, we shall be here in the wonderful UK. So, the next couple of days could see a little downtime, but don't worry, it will only be an hour or so if all goes to plan...

Maybe we should live stream it? /did I just say that out loud? !

Haha, I hope there are no rogue video cameras doing the rounds this time ;)

Having arrived back from China just in time, I shall also be attending. I'll be the drunken fool in the corner falling asleep into my pint. :D:alc::thepint::signbeer:

The server is undergoing stress at the moment, evil people trying to hack it and causing apache to throw a wobbler. Keep banning IP's and they keep coming back with new ones. Oh the joy! Time for the software to be upgraded and trimmed methinks...

Could have been the DNS servers on another server that has just had maintenance on it. However accyweb should not have been affected, will look into it.

That message is not there because a moderator has deleted it. I can still view it, see attachment.

That is because a spammer posted in the Your Desert Island Disc thread, if the post is not deleted before the mail run then you are informed, just as if it was a legit post.

Tapatalk makes browsing the forum on your smartphone much quicker than using your built in browser as it only needs to download small amounts of data and doesn't have to build a page. AccringtonWeb is now available using the Tapatalk Forum Browser on the following systems: iPhone: Read Only...

If you have a recent iPhone and the latest version of iOS4 (4.1) then you've probably got game center installed. It's kind of like xbox live but mobile.. Anyway, please add your Game Center id in this thread so we can maybe have some Accyweb gaming.. Feel free to add me - accyroy **this...

Shall we set the record straight? Hehehe, accyweb would you believe is doing better than ever. Year on year we have 20% higher unique visitors. Many people use accyweb as a source of information, they don't need to post to get the information they desire. Whoever is posting, whether it is 5 or...
