I was brought up in Great Harwood. I have yet to find a chippy as good as Clayton street. They make their own pies and puddings. Long live Jack and Freda.

A group of lads dragged a policeman from the Albion onto the canal bridge to throw him into the cut. But they were stopped from doing so by other Albion customers. which is perhaps aswell because he was unconsious at the time. Three people actualy got jailed for it.
