Now THATS an idea! Often thought that they should be like a car  tax disc, you get to renew it every couple of years or so, and perhaps if its getting a bit knackered - well you just don't renew it and go find another one. What a great idea!

I coughed up for both licences (twice maried). Didn't realise that it was only a down payment though. :D

Ordinary vinegar will do.  I've used it for years on the inside of my car windscreen - gets tobaccco stains off a treat  :)

Have you considered doing them yourself on your own printer Roy? I use Max Speilmans to get my 35m developed onto CD and then if there are some on the CD I want to print, I buy a pack of high gloss paper from Asda (honest) and print them off individually when I have cropped them. Saved me a...

They are calling themselves something else now.  Something like 'Contours' I think. Seriously, they moved over to Rochdale and I think they were having serious problems a month or so back, but I hadn't heard they had gone to the wall.  No bad thing if they have.

You can add Airtours to this list, thank goodness they moved to Rochdale.  Some other poor beggars are suffering now.
