Enty's is what used to be the Arcade Bar on Church Street, just under the Attic. Went down Accy last weekend for a quiet drink with a couple of mates, and let me tell you that 'QUIET' was the perfect word for it. Most pubs were empty - only the Calders seemed to be busy.

Ok folks - well Lindsay just rang me from the cricket ground, and the match is definitely ON - just a later start time of 2.45pm. So fingers crossed that the weather will hold out.

But that is the thing though, technically I wasn't waiting - I never actually put my name down for any list, was just told I should do it. The NHS did it for me. But I do get what you mean, at the end of the day you shouldn't have to wait for dental care - it should be much more readily accessible.

I must have struck lucky - I had to go to the dentist a few months back as I broke a tooth. He said I should get on a waiting list as soon as possible as they can take a while, then a month later I got a letter from the NHS saying they had passed on my details to a dentist and they would be...

Do you mean Oak House? The one behind the new health centre? If so I have just been myself last week. It wasn't an emergency appointment, but the staff were really friendly and didn't have to wait long. It is also a training centre for students - think they are there on Thursdays and Fridays...

Hey - well I just walked up from town and saw a couple of fire engines at the corner or burnley road, where the stabbing incident took place. Don't know how much damage there was as I did not walk that way, but could see the engines and the lights flashing away - just hope no one was hurt.

Re: Christmas meet numbers Well I stumbled across the meet last night by accident, and didn't get in till gone 4.30 this morn. Had a great time though, suprised anyone remembered me as it was over a year ago since my last meet. Hope everyone had fun :)

I agree with what Chav said about Accy being a ghost town these days at the weekends. Most bars are usually half empty, or full of kids. Personally I don't mind Accy, it used to be a good night out. Unfortunately the interest seems to have died off and people are travelling further afield...

It was open last night .... had a little red carpet outside, that was about the classiest thing about it really. Unfortunately the wait for it to open was not really worth it, lots of black, funhouse mirrors, bubbles and water and tight spaces. Much more fun when it was the Christmas shop!
