What a St. Patrick's day for Ireland!

Ireland wins! The biggest upsets in Cricket World Cup history. Pakistan, one of the cricket world's powerhouses was bowled all out by Ireland for a measly 132 runs. Ireland were inspired at bat and won by three wickets. What a momentous victory and on St. Patrick's day to boot. And here is...

    Amazing Grace

For Beverly and me it was a truly great movie. William Wilberforce has always been one of my great heroes. In my opinion this movie is a magnificent tribute to his indomitable spirit and humanity. What a marvelous movie in every respect -- I haven't witnessed audience applause at the conclusion...

I have installed a Feedback Board on my web site which is accessible via the home page. Links to both are in my signature block below. I have in turn installed a prominent reciprocal link to the AccyWeb Forum on my Feedback Board page.

You can disable images in your browser to speed up page rendering -- that is the default manner in which I use online Forums -- I turn image rendering back on selectively.

    Please Help!!! Internet Explorer!!

I should mention that there was great disappointment among XHTML Web Author gurus when Microsoft decided to once more (as they had with Internet Explorer 6.x Browsers) not support the application/xml+xhtml MIME type for XHTML in their Internet Explorer 7 release -- thus effectively killing XHTML...

    Please Help!!! Internet Explorer!!

I mostly use Firefox as my default Browser because of the excellent Web Developer plug-ins that are available and its great drop-down menu toolbar. It also processes XML & RDF Documents very well. I sometimes switch my default to Opera -- I like its interface. James

    Please Help!!! Internet Explorer!!

If you have the space -- and the inclination -- you might find it enlightening to install the latest versions of the most popular Graphical Browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Konqueror, etc. (depending on your OS) in order to investigate the look, feel and function of each one. You can...

    wireless

Not now, although I did for three years. The interior walls in my house are "Arizona standard" -- 2x4 lumber covered with sheet-rock (plaster board) -- there are two intervening bathrooms with tile covered shower walls -- a large clothes closet (full) as the penetrating wall in my work...

    wireless

Be surprized! I regularly maintain 54Mbps (56 my miss-type) -- as I type this. Do that all the time.

    wireless

I don't play games on my 'puters so I cannot comment on wireless compatibility for that purpose. I also am not familiar with products offered in Britain. In my experience we have no significant slowdown using wireless at our house (and no reports of significant slowness from other family...

I have fond memories of Lancashire League cricket matches at Church on some of the pleasant summer Saturday afternoons of my youth.

    Preserving Posterity

So often memorabilia from our family's and close friend's past gets lost to history. That is precisely why I started the threads on this Forum and elsewhere relating to the WW2 British Home Front and Unsung Allied Heroes of WW2 -- so I could record the stories and capture the images of those...
