    What next...

I thought the Australian animal rights group (PETA I think) are the craziest as they want farmers caught up in the mouse plague that is decimating crops not to kill the billions of mice but to trap them and release them somewhere else. Why do so many people around the world listen to and take...

    Political Correctness

Why do they call it 'Political Correctness' ? It may be political but it sure as damned ISN'T correct.

    Corona Virus

All phones have the ability to track you and apps give the owners of those apps ever more info on you, your habits, what you like and even how you think. Now a lot of people reckon if you are a law abiding citizen then it shouldn't bother you but that all boils down to who is in control and who...

    Corona Virus

At least you're not in Scotland where the virus can discern between a crowd opposing illegal criminal immigrants being deported (encouraged and supported by their "glorious" leader) and a crowd celebrating their football team's success (derided and despised by their "glorious" leader)

    What do you find frustrating?

Most of the larger supermarkets had a night crew even back in the day when they shut at 8pm. The only reason they weren't 24 hours back then was because they weren't allowed to. Unfortunately with global demands (people must have their Morrocan Raspberries and Quinoa flown in from far flung...

    What do you find frustrating?

I think a lot of the supermarket chains are seeing how successful Amazon have been by cutting out the 'middle man' by not having any stores and people to staff 'em. A lot of those that were once 24 hour stores have cut back their hours. Am wondering how many who have got used to home deliveries...

    Corona Virus

There is a difficult balance between personal freedom and how that freedom impacts on others. We used to smoke everywhere - even the teacher used to smoke in the classroom. People are still allowed to smoke if they wish to but not in a public place to the detriment of others. Would you allow...

    What do you find frustrating?

I think the whole thing is a plan by the major retailers to end up making everyone end up having home deliveries. Make the shopping experience such a pain so that we don't bother. Home deliveries is a dream for them - no costly stores, less staff, perfect stock rotation, they can offload the...

    Corona Virus

It's a case of playing the odds - if seven people die of blood clots and 127'000 die of the virus (even if you dispute those figures you would still have to accept that half of those deaths are actually attributable to covid) so let's accept the sceptics view..... even then the odds are going to...

    Corona Virus

I love Norway (they had the sense not to join the EU) and it isn't so much that it's expensive, it's just that everywhere else is cheap.

    What do you find frustrating?

having a television set with a hundred plus channels yet never finding anything worthwhile to watch (apart maybe from a few things on the Talking Pictures channel)

Iceland is on the list - though you will need a mortgage to be able to afford the £2.50 for a yoghourt or £10 for a pint.

    The red wall

With the Scots it's just a vote to spite the English. Some guy has been all over the world doing a you tube video series called 'Which Country Do You Hate' and mostly people don't really hate others or don't like the governments of other countries - even those they have had recent wars with the...
