    Holland Street

Not sure I´ve done that properly but hopefully you might have a pic to look at! I realised that it is the shop on the opposite corner to the one you posted but as I promised to upload it I thought I better had!

    Lumbago

Does anyone have a miracle cure? I´ve had it for weeks and it really is getting me down now. The doctor gave me an injection and Ibroprufen but neither helped. I´ve tried Deap Heat, Tiger Balm, Paracetemol and a heat pad but the pain still gets through.

    World War One

My nephew is off to Belgium next year and will be visiting some of the military cemeteries. I´m putting together some papers regarding Private Benjamin Yates who was buried at Gunners Farm. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission site has been quite helpful but I wondered if anyone could give...

    We can't live without Facebook

I love Facebook! As Margaret says it´s such a brilliant way to keep up to date with the family. I don´t see my lot often and phone calls are expensive to Tenerife. My son has spent some time in Australia with his family and it was lovely being able to see their photos. I´d hate to...

    Clocking in.

I´ve never clocked in but did have to suffer flexi time when I worked for the police. After either breaking or losing a few yellow plastic keys they gave up on me. I hated the whole thing.

    Info on China St.

I have a Betty Brindle in my family history stuff. She married Ralph Yates at Immanuel Church in Oswaldtwistle in 1856. The 1881 census shows them living in China Street with six daughters and a son. Hope this helps x

Whats yours and whats the cost

Really cheap here. It costs me around eleven euros for two hundred ciggies and it´s one euro fifty for a pack of tobacco. It´s so easy to smoke too many but things may change when Spain changes it´s smoking rules next year.
