It was confirmed on our official site this afternoon. Any good?

Has tonight been appointed manager of Southport

He didn't look conference standard to me. In the two league games, friendlies and lancs cup games he looked somewhat short of the mark

It's funny you should say that Oggy, Eric Redrobe officially launched our supporters' trust last night at haig avenue. Liam has done well to turn it round and we're eternally grateful for that

Have you asked Rod Taylor how he viewed proceedings, as he is a board member?

In terms of segregation, it means you aren't allowed in the brick end or the pop side. The away terrace is the blowick end, and seats are available in the east side of the grandstand (which is mixed)

You don't get a choice with entry to the competition, it is mandatory that all clubs that are members of the Lancashire FA and at conference level to north west counties have to enter. I'd imagine squad size would dictate why both teams would still have to field a number of first teamers...

To be fair to John Coleman, Liam Watson did much the same thing, replacing our entire midfield, one defender and a goalkeeper from a normal first choice lineup. And two of the subs were 18 year olds from the academy. But we knew that there would probably be six players rested as would most...

I sometimes wish Liam would name himself as a player, I'm sure he could do better than some of our other lads! He is technically registered as a player (shirt number same as his age - 35).

Can't see too many being at the game as i guess we both have quite different priorities at present! I expect both teams will use it as an opportunity to give fringe players a run out, I know Liam has certainly indicated that he might. Who knows, you might see jamie Speare in goal for us...

Did you read the post? It was offering a lift to accy fans from North Manchester.

It is a lot of money, but he won't be the first or the last footballer to be paid too much at conference level. He is probably the highest paid footballer by minutes on the field for a club though! As for whether it was ethical to reveal his wages, those figures have been in the public domain...

26. Even I don't describe that as getting on

Maybe it is dreaming, but out of the list submitted we've managed to get two of them in on loan with a third possibly signing. However, having heard what Rory is on, I don't think it is likely he will be coming to Haig Ave!

No. We don't feel we have the money at the moment to do it. We're looking at making the most out of what resources we have. We've recently taken on specialist fitness coaches to devise personal training programmes for the lads. The daytime training will be for all those who can attend. A...
