    Could This be Accrington?

This is a photo on Flickr and I was wondering if it was taken in Accrington. I've had a quick Google bit can't come up with anything. Any help much appreciated. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnsypete/53550160877/#comment72157720338051293

Just this morning I have received a postcard (dated 21 Nov 1911) purchased from Ebay and the message on the back is in Esperanto. Using Google translate it appears to be from someone learning stenography. My Grandparents lived at No 114 after WW2, the house is where the horse & cart are on...

Napoleon Street I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but between 1891 and 1901 Whalley Road was extended to include Napoleon Street. I've documented the changes here https://www.flickr.com/photos/rtbcomp/albums/72157624817490939 Scroll down a few pages

I haven't read the whole thread, and apologies if I'm duplicating information. Lime Street is mentioned in the 1939 Register. I know it's the same as Lime Road because my grandparents lived at No 9.

My godmother lived on Burnley Rd and I remember spending hours watching the overhead buckets which...

    Noted living Accringtonians.

The family lived a few doors from my grandparents on Lime Road. He built a scale model of the London Palladium in the spare room - it was amazing and featured in at least one article in the Observer. His father, Reg, was a partner in the engraving business, sadly he died of a heart attack...

No, you say you get the same problem! I started at page 1 of the thread and scrolled through the pages, they were OK apart from that one. Scrolling from either end of the thread gave the same error. It could be that someone on that page used a smilie from planetsmilies.net and Chrome flagged...
