I enjoyed the new version of True Grit. Yes it's darker than the original, but I thought it was easily comparable to the original and in some ways even better.

I was just wondering if anyone else is bored to deathwish with the title. For pities sake don't we need to fix things? Arguing about who did what, when and why doesn't start solving the problems. The global financial crisis was brought about by American banks! Get over it. Yes the LABOUR gvmnt...

Labradors are cutest, but poodles are tastier...............discuss

Don't know if anyone else has read and enjoyed it, but Will Selfs "book of dave". Got half way through and after two years finaly gave up with the bloody thing. Don't suppose anybody wants it do they? Free.

Too true, I would have been happy with 1% of that lot.

"IN NO WAY DO I CONDONE DISTRIBUTION OR REPRODUCTION OF COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL" Neither do I, because that's very very naughty. (Honest, I mean that). (No, really I do).

Just finished re-reading the Axis of Time trilogy by John Birmingham. Alternate history, but really well done. Just waiting to see if my Dad buys his latest, Without Warning. That's a subtle hint Dad!

Great movie! Watched it and thought, yeah ok. Then watched it a second time, caught all the little bits I'd missed the first time and decided it was brill!! Be warned, there are a couple of really bad copies going around.

Thanks to all of you.

Welcome from another fng:D

Hi All, living abroad for the moment, and you're where my family is from. All the best. TTFN:thepint: ( I WISH)
