Im sorry neil but I did not vote for the kerbs I was the one that wanted the cobbles but was told it would be to expensive to do. I was not bothered about loosing the grass but wanted to keep the trees.

The stone are now down and they look a mess. I still think cobbles would have looked better but I was out voted, and I think they would be cheeper

They will be the same level as the others. Yes the grass verges will be narrower.

They have no intension of removing the trees they are putting the kirb stones next to the ones that are already there. ie: on the grass.

residents should not be cutting the grass theirselves this should be done by the council workers.

I have been informed that the curb stones have arrived and are being put down.

does it make any difference if you have a car or not , or are you trying to say if you don't own a car you have not got an opinion. Even if you live on the street.

I would like to reply to your comment about having the verges flagged. This was not asked for it was cobbles they were asked for and were told it was to expesive. I have also been talking to council about planning permision.

I am very sorry about the way my first message was worded. First of all the Area Council meeting is not held at the Conservative club it is held at the Town Hall. The widening of Rhyddings Street has been going on for years. Now is the only time they have got any money for this to be done. Also...
