I went up there last year and thought the collection was amazing, it was very informative with numerous visual displays. The irridescent finish on some pieces are brilliant. Well worth a trip out to.

If you are a beginner, I would leave it till at least march. The falling water temp turns the fish docile and slows down their feeding and movement patterns. If you are really keen to fish my advice is use much finer/lighter tackle(floats, lines) and smaller hooks also usr much less...

My hound didn't even flinch when she had it done. It's also a damm sight less painfull than the old method of IDing, tattooin the inside of the ear, I've heard some stories about that...
