Back in Accy once more and managed to "scrounge" some time on Uncle`s PC to allow me to clear up the Quizes I have posted,and to try and persuade him to carry on himself as I will be off again tomorrow to pastures new. The original "Photo Quiz - 6" was won by Bagpuss -- take an Oakleaf...

Thought these may be of interest to a few members.

I know that the arrowed building is not very clear, in fact Gobsmacked said he couldn`t see the building ( try Specsavers or a duster on the monitor ) consider a smiley here. However, just think about the location of the building in respect of its elevation -- then try again.

Further to the original Quiz No 4 here are three from Uncle Bert.

It is the rear of the Hippodrome taken from the then Ellison`s Tenement now the site of Jewson`s yard.

My Uncle Bert says he has always believed it to be Jacob Street Mission, but there is a possibility that it started off as a Ragged School. ----- Over to you Atarah.

A question to Retlaw & Cashman -- are you saying that the arrowed building is Highams Mill ?

Photo was taken with the use of a 300mm Telephoto Lens on a SLR Camera and of course creates a foreshortening effect. The question is what has been blacked out ?

What is in the process of being demolished ?

Another easy one from recent times. What wording is missing off the sign ?

This one taken more recently than the last one. What was the original name of the marked building ?
