We had a lovely family dinner today. I did the traditional Roast Beef with yorkshire pudding and lovely fresh veg. I made a baked rice pudding for afters. I invited Mum over, but she declined....she is a pain sometimes.....she thinks that I will be overlaoded with work to cook a bit extra for her.......anyway I plated her a meal up and we will take it over tomorrow.......I would have taken it today but she had already cooked some lamb cutlets for herself.
I did the preparation and the cooking, but hubby did the washing up.
I think they call that teamwork.
It was a lovely meal.....the boys watched the football match while daughter and I chatted while I was cooking...... the anklebiter just went round creating havoc...as usual.
