Well l won't be going to Willow and Busman's wedding in a rabbit fur coat after all. The need for rest outweighed the need of a date with a poacher and l called off the fun.

This weekend has been fairly awful. Yesterday l was meant to have lunch with my Mum, but having fainted in the shower and being sick all over the bathroom walls, again l called another plan off.

Mum came down instead, she's worried to death, l should be looking after her not the other way round. For the first time l felt really p-issed off. l sat crying like a spoilt child. Not having slept more than 6 hours in the last week every muscle in my body was in knots, l was shaking like a one flippered sealion, in a nutshell l was totally fed up.

I don't know if l mentioned it already, but at the PDS meeting a woman came in at he end who was 50. She had had Parkinson's for ten years, my age now. She couldn't walk, couldn't speak, was bent double and shook badly while she tried to walk. I was shocked, and frightened, l know she's an extreme example, but there she was.

After a fairly good six hours sleep, l feel much better. I'm not so sorry for myself today- just sorry l worried my Mum. l'm going there tonight to make her tea, and l will be wearing my normal jolly fool mask. :)

well looks like you need another mezzing pal, come on now cheer up or i'll be there, he he he he .

Sounds like you've had a really crappy week, hope you're feeling better soon. We'll see you at the wedding and I'm sure that whichever coat you wear you'll look fab.

I hope you feel better Gary.......and as you say the person at the PDS was the extreme of the scale.
I know your Mum would be worried.......but it goes with the territory.......and hey you will still be her little boy when you are 70.
Get enough rest this week so that you can really enjoy the wedding......I'm expecting to hear all about it after the weekend.
