It is wonderful to be able to sleep again thanks to the new pills, but I'm having some very vivid, strange dreams because of them I think.
I told my brother that if I was ok today I would again go and tackle the mountains of washing up. Because I went to bed thinking about this, I spent all night dreaming I was still at work in London. I was exhausted at the end of my nocturnal day.
I can still see the American man, his wife, and their horrible kids, who were running in the window knocking over the displays. I also had to have words with one of the cutters who wanted to leave on time, but who was needed to help secure the order. The dream lasted for ages, and only ended with me charging his credit card for £2,240.00. An amount which made staying open late worth it.
My old boss telephoned me last week for a chat, to see how I was getting on. The dream was so real I'm half tempted to call him back, to tell him to make sure the sample shirt is through in three weeks, because that's when I promised it would be ready for either collection or despatch to the States.
I woke up at eight, but again was unable to move for about two hours. I can open my eyes, but not move my body. It is strange, but I'm getting used to it. It's a small price to pay for a good nights sleep.
[P.S. Yesterday's catastrophe was nothing to do with my Mum. She was as hurt and upset at what happened as I was. Thanks for the pm's though.]
