I can write again!

I can't say how good it is to be back. I tried every trick in the book with BT, to hurry the fault finding process, including the poor isolated disabled boy, which is a laugh 'cause l had a good old knees up last night!

Met Lindsay and g78 in The Oaklea for a pre match pint or two, and proceded to have one of the best nights out l've had in eons.

l used to have a season ticket for Blackburn from the age of four 'til sixteen. l hated playing team sports, [don't 'we' all- strange trait that,] but loved going to watch the footy. Stanley was like it should be, immediate, passionate and good fun. l was signed up as a member and can't wait for next season. l've started knitting already, not a scarf, l thought more of an all in one red knitted suit. Watch this space, they'll all be wearing them soon!

Managed to drag my sorry ass down to The Stag, leaving Lindsay and the divine Rory, and her Mum & partner to finish the night of in style.

Mez, Mick, Less and the usual hard core webbers greeted me warmly. l was thrilled to meet Lettie and Sparks. lt's strange,l'm sure we all do it, but they aren't what l pictured. Lettie l had down as a pigtailed albino blond with specs [?], only to find shes a sophisticated bubbly brunette, and Sparks is just as l remember him from Primary School but with more stubble! [Not!]

I also got to meet Darby, a kinder and more intuative fellow l've yet to meet. The conversation we had in the little boy's room meant a great deal to me.

Joining Accy Web has changed my life. lt's allowed me to physically write, but more than that l've become part of a great bunch of people. When l went in last night Mick and Less had been discussing my plight, and had brought some bumph in about voice activated p.c.'s. I don't need it yet, but the fact that someone l hardly know that well bothered to think about me, means a great deal.

Also met Simon one of my mental chatroom buds, again what a suprise! He's a really nice bloke!

Don't remember what time l got in, but l don't care, it was better than being awake all night with my drug cocktail.

At 2.15pm this afternoon l've got the speech thereapist coming for the first time. At the moment it's not really affected me much other than l've developed a stutter for the first time in my life, and l mumble on the phone. l'd rather prevent things now than wait until it's too late, a bit like seeing the physio., and my morning rolls in bed!

'The rain in Spain falls mainly on the Plain.'

'By Jove Professor Higgins, l think she's got it!'
