I'm not really peevish.

I have just read back my last post and it makes me sound mean, miserly and peevish......and I'm not any of those things. I would welcome family to stay if it didn't mean me having to shift furniture, box my worldly goods....damn, I might even have to pack up my computer stuff for the five weeks.....it lives in the room that would be my Sister-in-laws bedroom. I am going to have some very serious withdrawal symptoms if that comes to pass. Do you think a case of bird flu would put them off?

Don't worry about sounding peevish I have a lot of relatives who tend to descend on us with no warning.......They just turn up!!!!! I love to see them but it drives me mad..
