We are supposed to be going to Southport to watch Stanley. Harwood Red is meant to be picking me up at 5.45, for a 7.45 kick off.
Everyone's really looking forward to it, partly because we are at the top of the league and they aren't, and it's pretty much a local Derby.
The weather isn't as bad as the weather men predicted. I went to sleep at five, at that time it was really windy, but not snowing hard. When I woke up a lot of it had already gone. Now it's just really wild. The wind is howling, and it's blowing sleety rain nearly horizontally against the windows.
There's another pitch inspection at 1pm according to that nice Mr Sparkologist, who has just posted the information from Southport's site on Accy Web.
So it's fingers crossed.
I want to go to the seaside.
'Are we there yet Mummy?
Are we there yet?'
