I still have not been out.
I want to...but I know it is not a sensible thing to do.
There is nothing that we need at the moment.
We have plenty of milk....the bread is not that fresh, but I only want it for toast....so it is ok.
Anyway, I have another loaf in the back freezer.
I think about the people who are working....
Especially the NHS staff. I have just read of a nurse trying to shop after a 13 hour night shift being abused and called a 'queue jumper at a Liverpool Aldi.....that is absolutely discusting.
The lass should be given her shop by the store for putting up with such moronic comments.
I know the difficulties that they will be experiencing right now...the pressure of work, the difficulties in sorting out child care, shopping etc....the last thing the NHS staff need is stupid comments from ungrateful members of the public.
I think of the people who are getting food and supplies to the supermarkets....the supermarket workers too....they are just as vital as our NHS staff, but they are not given much thought...or thanks.
They are just as much on the front line as NHS staff....and at risk of coming into contact with people who are infected....and they don't get a second thought.
This is a tough time for everyone....and there is no sign of the light at the end of the tunnel...I hope it has not been turned off
