I feel surprisingly chipper today considering the late night last night. We went out for our tea and then went to see a play before going to the Accyweb do. The play was called something like Me and the King and was about a fella with amnesia who was trying to discover himself and remember his past. He inadvertantly became an Elvis obsessive and impersonator. It was extremely well acted and the singing was excellent but it was a bit surreal and at times I found it a bit difficult to follow. I think the premise was that nobody really knows who they are......or summat like that.
The Accyweb do was great fun, as usual Easy Street were excellent and most of us probably had a bit too much festive spirit. We left the car in the compound behind the Stag and have still not collected it. I borrowed a crimson feather boa from Mez, I had a purple one but it was making me itch so I swapped it. The upshot of the swap was that I had a livid red stain all around my neck this morning which has proved rather difficult to remove. I looked like I had tried to hang myself, so I've been in the shower and had a good scrub. The mark has eventually gone but the eczema on my neck is a bit irritated so I'm now smothered in greasy cream.
I was awoken by Sparks this morning who was trying to tell me that he could hear the dog vomiting. Sure enough it was all over the landing and top stair. After cleaning it up and having a couple of coffees I felt remarkably well. It can't last, I tend to deteriorate as the day goes on when I've had a late night and booze...... here's hoping that I still feel chipper in a few hours.
