Well, I should not be sitting here doing this......I should be wrapping presents, decorating the tree.......except I still need to go out and buy more presents......if only I knew what to get......I asked my son in law what he wanted and he said the good Christmas dinner that he will be eating at our place will be enough for him......I have got the obligatory socks and stuff but would like to get him something that he would really like.......I asked Nicola what she was getting him and she said she didn't know either...so no help there.
I will need to move some furniture to get to the tree and all the decorations.....I might do that over this weekend, or there is always next week..... but that is cutting it a bit fine.
Nicola and I are going to have a look around the shops while Grandad looks after the ankle biter......we may both be struck with inspiration eh?
I will be happy when the festive period is over and we can get back to normal.
I penned a little Christmas greeting and posted it on the web and it has been very well received......I have also sent some e-cards to Oz with the same verse on...... just makes it a bit more personal.
My sister made me very envious... she told me it was 25 degrees and it was only 9am and that they were just going down to have a walk on Wynnum Esplanade.....wish I was with her sunning my bum.
