Well, thanks Slinky for your comment........and yes, I know I only have one life....and it would be good to get away especially at this time of year...but it just isn't practical.
Christmas is coming...and there are things that need doing round the house....and I would like to upgrade my computer soon.
But if there is anyone out there who has a couple of thousand quid that they don't know what to do with...well, I'm your man (WO).
I don't have any fears or hang ups about solo travel...I have done it before and I quite enjoy it.
But I can't justify the fare of almost a thousand quid......and then there would be spending dosh on top of that. I know that I wouldn't have to fork out for accommodation, but I do like to pay my way with the food and utilities......and going out etc.
So I guess I will have to dream a bit longer.
I was talking to mutti earlier today and she goes to visit a spiritualist medium every now and again. I think she is keeping her eye on my dad from this side of the veil...anyway i told her about the phone call to my niece yesterday. Mutti laughed and said that the medium told her that I would be going out to Oz in the not too distant future....how spooky is that?
