First thing this morning I received PB's last leaflet. He's cut out one of our images off one of our leaflets and written some text then photocopied them. They were the scrapiest things you've ever seen. The best thing was that I told the office about them and apparently he's used an image that we had copyrighted that means that Labour office can charge him for the use of it.
It's the most ridiculous leaflet as well because it just confused people. Some people thought it was our leaflet anyway, others couldn't work out why he was so proud to say 26 PCSO's in our style when we're saying 50 PCSO's and Community Wardens. It just looked very bad.
Anyway, I've been handed quite a few by some residents who thought it was a joke so that we can use it as evidence.
Apart from that it's been a good day. Thank goodness we've had brilliant weather today. I've leafleted every house in the ward apart from Apple Tree Way estate which we'll do first thing in the morning. It took a long time because so many people wanted to chat to me but it's a job well done.
So I suppose now it's all down to what happens tomorrow and if people actually turn out like they've said they would!
