The last lines are written...the chapter ends, the book is closed.
I am an orphan.
Good night Ma, sleep tight. You were my rock, my anchor, my guiding star. I will be lost without you.

No daughter could have done any more to make their Ma happy than you Margaret...The blogs that you wrote about all the trips away, were a happy read...You take care of yourself...Bea x

Ma ..... I know that whatever I say won't make things better, the pain won't disappear just because folk wish you well & empathise with your loss. It hurts too much right now, but eventually things will be different, not next week, not next month but sometime down the line, it will ease!

We all will, at some point go through great sorrow & pain, but life continues on whether we partake or not, so with that thought uppermost at this sad time, we offer you our sympathy & thoughts for you & yours. Take heart in the fact you had your Mum for a good part of your life & cherish those times, hopefully those memories will help ease the sorrow.

Dave & Marion.

Thank you Son, your kind words mean a lot.
Ma had a hard life, but a good life.
I have lots and lots of lovely memories.
They weigh less than a full stop.
She was weary and she has achieved rest.
Yes, there is the pain of grieving, but that is what love costs.

Not a good time, all yeh can do is keep batting, deepest sympathy, yeh never forget, i aint n lost mine early 80s,At least yeh had her more than many people Margaret, x

Margaret, I'm so sorry. I know she was a big part of your life.
But never forget, she always had the comfort of knowing you were always there for her, right to the end.

yes, Gordon..you are right.
I would happily have given her my very breath...but she was weary and when life is a burden that is too hard to carry..even with willing help...you have to let it go.
I was the luckiest daughter alive.

Dear Margaret, though I have already sent my sympathy and thoughts to you privately, I shed a few tears as I read this final farewell to your mother, so beautifully put. You enriched your mother's life with your love and your caring. You are the real meaning of what a daughter should be. Stay strong.
