I have always liked poetry......and I have written poetry for a long time...though some would be unkind and suggest it is pure doggerel.(or even unpure doggerel)
I am pleased to find that some of you also liked my efforts enough to comment.
For those who have noted my absence from blogging, and my return with what could be seen as a downbeat poem(though I would prefer to call it emotive)....and wants to put two and two together and come up with six......I will just say(in gruff tones of a police bobby).........'Move along there, nothing to see'.
I have hibernated my blogging head.
It seemed that there was no-one else doing any blogging(sorry Jen...I know you kept the light burning for a while)....and I was a bit bored with only having my stuff to read.
After all....I know how the story ends.
I have also been a bit busier with the tinlids and Ma........and I didn't reckon that I'd be missed very much if I took a break.
I have some more stories to tell......another poem or two that you might like so......watch this space.
