Worth the wait ??????

I must admit I am not really one for following instructions.......though I know that it is the best way to do something right.
I wanted to post some of the Oz Pics so I had to search for how to do this neat bit of jiggery pokery........
Oh, and I suppose I should say that I am not good at asking for help either.......
I really like to try and work things out for myself.

After a bit of searching I found the instructions that I needed........and I tried to memorise them.
That was mistake number one. Why would you try to memorise a set of instructions when it is easy to print them off......? God only knows. I suppose one of my nursing tutors( Mrs Walker) summed it up quite succinctly.......she implied that I would always choose the challenging route to do something by asking me if I always had sex standing up......in a hammock?????
(I suppose that is worth trying sometime......perhaps not......I'm a bit long in the tooth for such athleticism......and as my hubby has observed 'old bones break easily and mend slowly).

Well.......I tried and I tried to upload the pics using my memorised destructions.......and got increasingly frustrated when nothing materialised.........Then I got clever.
I printed the instructions out.......maybe now we would get somewhere.
Well, I have to say that Len did a sterling job of the destructions, but I must be a bit thick because although I got the pics to upload I couldn't get them onto my post.
There was quite a bit of blaspheming going on at this point......and while I rarely eff and Jeff......I was doing a fair bit of 'black enamelling'

I read my printout over and over again.......I followed these so called easy steps......then by some fluke I managed to get one single solitary pic onto my post.......but I had absolutely no idea how I had achieved this miracle(?)
Ok......it may not be a miracle to those who can accomplish this task......but to me it was!

It took me absolutely ages to work out what to do.......but by Jove I think I've got it.

I posted some pics last night just before I went to bed and I have just done some more now.......so it could be said that I have 'learned'.

Sparks.......I hope you like my efforts.......and I hope it was worth the wait!

Hehehe, I remember my first frustrating attempts. I had to write down the instructions as my printer was out of action. Mick had to shrink all the photos for me and put them on a disc as I was clueless. I have now fiddled enough to be able to shrink and upload my piccies but I haven't learned to do much else.

great stuff, congratulations on your managing to upload your pics, i cant, i had to get len to put mine on for me.he he. good pics too, my fav place in sydney was darling harbour loved it.

Mez.....it was a blooming struggle believe me.......and then I uploaded the big pics.......couldn't understand why I hadn't got those lovely little thumbnails in the dinky box........but Len......aah what a good lad.....helped me out. I know how to do it now though!
