Re: Lost ferret

i have one similar to yours it was a gift from my youngest because he thought it was a meah cat lol

very curious animals and easily led astray by a scent of almost anything but a very poor sense of direction or homing skills so easily get lost

you would think by the stink of them they could find their way home very easily but i guess like humans you dont smell it quite as bad when its your own lol

Re: Lost ferret

Ma used to have a ferret.
She called it Baby....it used to love being bathed and being dried with the hairdryer.
If my ma was running a bath for herself and left the door open, the ferret would dive into the bath. It was a mad thing. I wasn't keen on it at first, but it was as soft as your pocket.

Re: Lost ferret

My brother had two ferrets called Spot and Heidi when he was a teenager. He once asked my mum to feed them as he was out one day and, I assume it was winter time as it was dark, she shoved the food in and pulled out her arm with one of them still attached. A trip to A and E for an anti tetanus followed. I don't think she was over keen on them after that. Oh, and ferret perfume is something else! He used to sneak them in the house when she was at work, needless to say he was always rumbled when she came home.

Re: Lost ferret

my pal went away with work for a week so left his wife to clean out the ferrets and hutches of the various animals they had..

she took the ferrets out fo their hutch while she cleaned them out which in its self is a good idea but she put them in with teh kids rabbits so at least she halved her work and didnt need to feed the ferrets after she cleaned their hutch..

mind you their son cleaned the fish out with a cyclinder hoover so pet keeping not their strongest point
