Hug a tree or get sacked.

Mention was made on the smoking thread about erosion of freedom, interference in our lives, Political Correct thought control etc.

The Green Party(who?) are now insisting that any Government Minister or senior adviser who doesn't agree with the Green Party about Climate Change should be sacked! Even the chief veterinary officer( didn't know he had a view of or influence on climate change).
It's easy to think 'Ignore these idiots' but they are strong lobbyists and have a lot of backers in power- those people who are making lots of money from green policies. Tim Yeo has spent so much time on his directorships of companies making lots of money from green policies that his local party are sacking him. And this man is chairman of the Energy Select Committee! Talk about an unbiased chairman! You couldn't make it up.

Soon being a doubter of the 'Global Warming is all our fault' brigade will class you along side racists, homo-phobics, pedophiles and other dangerous minorities. It could even be made illegal?

Freedom to think, make your own decisions or have a certain opinion can be dangerous, it must be stopped!

I do not believe in global warming....and the scientists who were putting lots of weight to this theory(because that is all it was, a theory.....not fact) were proved to have fudged the figures....or to be more realistic - they lied.
Climate change/ global warming theory is a man made thing....the theory, not the global warming.....and those who make the most emissions are not even signed up to the Kyoto Treaty.
I will repeat this as often as necessary. If this thought or expression of this thought becomes illegal, I will go to jail.....and while I am there I will do a degree( free of charge) get my cataracts seen to, eat three meals a day and have a roof over my head.

So we have global warming because of increased Co2, mankind is greedy and uses up the Earths resources?
This causes ice caps to melt and increased sea levels.
On top of that, we have extreme weather causing inconvenience world wide.
Or have we? If the Earth is warming up, then naturally that will cause more water vapour in the atmosphere, lots and lots of fluffy white things called clouds.
They in turn will act as very good reflectors to bounce the extra heat back into space thus having a cooling effect, so surely keeping the temperature down?

Obviously I have no proof of this but I am willing to do a Worldwide lecture tour spouting my beliefs so long as the price is right.

Great idea, now if we could lower the price of Petrol, I could buy a V12 to help with the global cooling plan

I will of course require a private jet to wing me from place to place, fancy a job? If you aren't available could you recommend someone with an over large gas guzzler that I could burn through the skies in.

yep 760Li SE, but I was thinking more of an Aston Martin Vanquish V12, seeing Graham wants us to buy British, well built in Britain anyway

Less, I would be honored to be your personal pilot, I am sure we could find a suitable gas guzzler for the job, Air Force One is quite good at it

Is that made in the U.K.?

I would prefer something unreliable that spends most of it's time in a hanger undergoing repairs, though it should have internet connection so that I can apologise for nonappearance at venues and bill them for it anyway.

So many to choose from I'm confused!

Now your being silly, the French half of Concorde would keep it in the air, As for the comet! I want something unreliable but survivable.

Even their plans factored in metal fatigue! Half of this one is already missing!
