I'm not surprised by the reactions of fellow Accy Webbers towards this show. Having taken part in several juried shows I can report that it's basically a crap shoot. It depends upon the juror, and their personal taste. I have decided that such shows are not for me. I have even heard fellow artists state that they only enter shows where they know the taste of the juror to favour the style of their own work. Doesn't this say all.

The good part of the exhibition is that it gives exposure for a wide range of pictures.
So as long as you go into it with no expectations other than that of letting a wide audience see you pictures you are OK. I really did not expect to come anywhere, but I have to say that the ones that were placed would not have been my choice.....There were many many very good pictures....none of which were in the top ten. I'm sure that this is not just my opinion either.
