That's strange, it shows up on mine. Oh well, my apologies, John. That's where it is and it's 1964 - looks like they were going for an early Rolling Stones look, maraccas and all! :)

He still goes up t'Stanley...lives somewhere in Cheshire now...think he's done a few folk concerts at the social club. I'll ask him if I get the chance.

Anybody recall a teenage group who went by the name of 'The Warriers'. They were a group of teeny-boppers who were a hit with the girls in the 1960's. I recall them supporting 'Lennie and the TeenBeats' at Great Harwood's Mercer Hall one St Paddies Day, along with a traditional danceband for the oldies. I also saw them quite frequently at Accy Con. Those really were the days!!!

We've actualy dicussed this before cashy, they did start as a ten bopper group before Jon and Tony became involved, but there were two brother Tony and Ian Alveston, Tony was my mate and I travelled round with them when we were still at school, but can't ever remember them playing Accy Con, Tony is a member on here but haven't seen him post.
