you don't need one to go digital, you do need one to go HD.
They are as others say a 'shiny new' type of scart connection but one that supports High Definition connections. Without one ( Or another HD compatible connection) you lose the HD quality. If you are thinking of getting a Xbox 360, PS3, blu ray DVD player and a HD TV in teh next couple of years then keep it. If not I reckon you can easily get a fiver for it! |

cheers Ken i kind of acquired it, was at the bus stop in Blackburn the other day and it had been left in a bagat the bus stop, so i took it (naughty me, i know) like i said, its brand new, still has the price on, i doubt i'll be getting anything new in the next 100 years so i dont need it
