To be honest Think the plastics should be more concerned about how they are going to do next season never mind Liverpool, after all the Pool did win one pot last season, now let me think how many did red noses mob win, I've forgotten for the minute:confused::confused::rolleyes:;)

And he walked out on another club - sorry, of course he got sacked this time. He must hold something of a record on walkouts.

No Barrie will just be following the mighty pool 5 times European Champions, 4 of them attained when you had to actually win the league to enter, think if the same rules applied the score would be 4-1 to the Pool, will sill be following Rovers as usual, but I can have three teams this year Rovers Liverpool and Stanley all in three different divisions:p:p:p

Hi Ding, gave up on the French - no decent football in Brittany - kinda like Blackburn or Liverpool. So back in Accrington after 50 years away, some of that earning an honest shilling - 3 actually.
Hope all is good with you and not imbibing too much of the Schlosser Alt or Berliner Kindl:D

You are certainly heading there - but I forget, your new lot have won 2 games so far, unfortunately WBA screwed them good in the Prem. You should have stuck with Rovers Jay, you could have at least celebrated an away draw then.
United were crap but we were playing a team that finished ahead of the scouse lot last season, not one that just avoided relegation.
Good result for Stanley, let's hope they can keep it up

Never mind about "Good result for Stanley", you ought to be here watching 'em, now you're back in Accy. As far as I'm aware, you're not going down to Stretford to watch your football, so you need some live match action, along with the craic of the terraces! ;)

In order to use the term 'la creme' a team has to have won something in the past season.
Seeing Mancy U DID NOT WIN ANYTHING:eek: not even the Mickey Mouse Cup, they lose the right to it.
From now on La Creme refers to the Noisy Neighbour's Manchester City.
Of course if you win the title you get it back Barry:cool:

Ya the plastics seem to forget they went 26 years in the wildness, when the pool were all supreme and in that time they won "Big Ears" 4 times by qualifying as champions, when the competitions was for those who actually won the league.

And the French beat us at Hastings - history is history and the further you go back the less relevance it has on today - looking like your new team could easily follow the last team you supported.:p
As for history, how long is it since the scouse lost the first three games and were in the relegation zone:confused:

As per usual I will be kind regarding Liverpool...they got beat away first game but nowt unusual in that.. draw at home against Citeh..could be worse..then the Gooners (who have a good record at glory hunting ground Anfield) do em.
Like DiG says it's early days.. but it's already looking like Pool won't get in the top four..which is what top snake Kenny got sacked for..or was it because he don't like black people? :D

Notice Red Nose said Liverpool were by far the better side on Sunday even with ten men and the ref on United side:p

Spot on Jay, it seems Barrie and others can only point at the shortfall of other teams.
Even Fergie is complaining there was not enough Fergie Time,
BBC Sport - Sir Alex Ferguson: Amount of injury time an insult
Poor him,

Been otherwise occupied to even look at the usual drivel from the bigots.
It seems that the scousers and Rovers aren't doing too well at all - must be absolutely galling for scousers to have both United and Everton so far above them - is the "belly flop" the latest addition to the Suarez repertoire?
As for Rovers - well, you get rid of Kean and then start slipping down the table. Is that because you reaffirmed your support for them Jay.
Please could you start supporting Manky City Jay - then they will no doubt slide towards oblivion like your other two clubs have done.
Who are Rovers going to get as the new manager? Lots of candidates apparently who have the necessary qualifications - Shearer, McCarthy, Coyle, etc. all with experience of getting clubs relegated:tongueout:rolleyes::D

Apparently some guy spoofing on twitter got himself a big following, well respected journalists included, by claiming to be in the know about the inside dealings of LFC and getting a couple of transfers correct, this is his version of events regarding actions taken by Liverpools main Google Page Ranking guy Jen Chang, makes interesting reading and if true paints Mr Chang in a very bad light

Hey DinG, you are top of a league (of sorts), OK, only a group to see who goes into the competition proper. But things certainly look to be improving and with an easy game coming up this weekend you should even move up the Premier League. Of course, even if you beat Everton the will still be above you by a reasonable margin

Thanks Barrie, I might just do that.
It must be cheaper than paying or the ref to keep sending your opponents off until you win.
11 against 9 and you only just won, very la creme

Agree that Torres should not have been sent off when he did - shouod have been earlier when he got his boot onto Cleverly's upper chest - only the sportsmanship of Cleverly kept him on the field then. The other one, no doubt he was last defender and that he clipped Young's heels.
Heard Tom Daley isn't competing in the high board diving in Rio - he says he just wouldn't stand a chance against Suarez:p:D

Norwich again - travelled up from Norwich to watch them play Utd in the FA Cup back in the late 60s - same result, wasn't half a long journey back to Norwich.
Guess we are in real danger of being on the slippery slide along with the scousers now - I see that Liverpool as a whole are quite taken with the slippery slide - they even get the wrong breed of penguins to perform on their ice rink.
I must admit it is a blow to be slipping down the league to second place especially with the scousers on a rapid climb up the league, before long they could be in the top half:p:D

Yes, you won a tin pot and we didn't get anything - but we got into the Champion's League, what did your lot get into, second string wasn't it?
Just seen that you are a whole 6 points clear of the relegation zone - oh dear, you could even have a local derby against Rovers next season the way you are going;):D

LFC are in a relegation dog fight and they know it. No longer part of the 'Big Four'. When Suarez is sold to Chelsea in January they will plummet even further.

"Big Four" - they aren't even in the top half:rolleyes: Will the new Chelski manager want Suarez?;)
Who are the next managers to go - Hughes, Mancini, Rodgers. None of them are living up to the hype that surrounded them in their early days.:D
