Re: 2016/17 Prediction League; Game 43 v Crawley Town (home)

Top Four Get Three, Next Three Get Four, Only Seven Still In With Chance

Well six realistically, as Cashman needs 5 points more than AccyMad every game to make up the deficit – much longer odds than Stanley making the playoffs . And four of the six will be in a similar position next week if they don't make up some ground on Saturday.

We were left with just two people betting against a Stanley win against Creepley , both for perfectly understandable superstitious reasons . So everybody else who played got at least three, the eleven expecting another clean sheet from Jeff got one bonus , and Tom D, who guessed the goal machine (except for Shay) would have an off day, got two . Is it really true Shay’s goal wasn’t from a free kick

Changes in position were few. Tommy McQueen didn’t go to post, and dropped from 8th to 12th as a result. This might have allowed Div3North to climb back into the Top Ten, but Ossy Kid got a bonus and D3N didn’t, so OK got the No 10 spot and D3N didn’t sneak (again) . Tom D’s maxi meant he swopped places with Football19 (15th and 16th). Accybeme’s sacrifice dropped him another place, swopping with Proccy Fan (19th and 20th), and Outback Ozzy dropped below Winstanley asfc and Dav007 (25th to 27th). And AngeB and I made some progress in the twenties, thanks to JimsLad and Red-Osbornello not turning up this time.

Sorry this is a bit late, slipped what passes for a mind after I didn’t do it straightaway.

So, roll on beleaguered, hit-for-6-on-Monday-but-dangerous-when-wounded Newport County, still dreaming of the great escape. Will we be seeing a prediction from ncfc1, seeking to consolidate his(?) position in the percentage league, currently sharing the lead with Lord Love Rocket (there, I’ve typed it twice now ) on 80% with 4 points from 1 go? Will we push them over the edge? Will we still be in the play-off push come 5pm Saturday? Of course we will …..

On Stanley On!!
