Where did we get him from, is he on loan?

Not a fan, doesn’t save enough penalties for my liking .... ;)

SUPER SEAN McCONVILLE

Sounds like a good performance from Macca tonight :)

Need to be careful with the window still open, after tonight, Marseille might fancy him???

83 pages on a football club forum about one player must have put stanley fans in a record book somewhere.

Re: Sean Mc

Seems Sean Macs got a new 3 year contract, they say hes improved as a player oer the years, no argument from me oer that he certainly has.:)

Re: Sean Mc

Will take him to a testimonial and probably into the 400 game club - not many have done either! (Mullin and Grimshaw?)

Procky must have come close to 400 matches?:alright:

Hmmm. Just looked him up on Wikipedia....
301 matches for Stanley.

Re: Sean Mc

IMHO Sean is still improving and hasn’t reached his peak yet!:alright:

Re: Sean Mc

If i remember right Proccy will have played a lot more than 301, fairly sure he was closing in in Mullins appearance record when he left. Probably doesnt include non league cup appearances etc

VALAIRIAN 29-07-2019 11:24

Super Sean McConville

Really pleased about the news about Supermac :)

With all the new faces around in the squad, it is good that we have Macca and Hughesy to name but two, who have been around a while and know the Club :)

Plus side also, if somebody wants him, we will get a few ££££ ;)

:) :) :)

Yes, I think you are correct about that figure not including performances below Conference level.
Could be an overall total of 375 Appearances for Stanley!:alright:

Well, that is another hurdle navigated safely......!! :)

Now the Money Bags Window is closed, we only have to worry about the European Big Boys now.............

25 days to go until we can rest, before the January Headless Chicken window opens :D

:) :) :)

Silly Sean McConville

Honest from Sean, but he has let the team down :(

https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/...ville-apology/

Misses the MK Dons - massive game!! - and Bristol, not sure if the Fleetwood game in the Paint Pot counts, or if he misses Sunderland??

Either way, he is missing important games - 2 of which are at home.............

Needs to make amends when he gets back in the team!!

:) :) :)

Re: Sean Mc

true glad hes apologised, but as a captain at times he ought to know better and behave accordingly to me.

Re: Sean Mc

I can understand his frustration & at least he's held his hands up to it & apologised but he's gonna be a massive miss in the next 3 games.
Pity Evans can't be given a retrospective red card but because he was booked that'll be it for him - makes my blood boil
