Is it normal for it to take so long for the charges to be made?

I'm not surprised he is a hothead I was at Charlton when is over reaction led to a lengthy ban, shame because he loses concentration in games at times chasing a revenge tackle or something on those lines, no problems with a hard player as long as it doesn't affect his performance.

I think people are interested 28, but as has been said elsewhere I think most will be waiting for the full details to come out before commenting on the situation - it could hopefully be just a storm in a teacup

Absolutely no chance of this going away.

think the report is a bit vague anyway so its hard to comment on it. just hope that it will come out what he has allegedly said and in what context it was said.

Rule E3 (1) relates to conduct and states:

“A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour”.

Rule E3 (2) relates to “aggravated breaches” and states:

A breach of Rule E3 (1) is an “Aggravated Breach” where it includes a reference, whether express or implied, to any one or more of the following :- ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, religion or belief, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or disability

Something clearly said around the time of Barclay's yellow card.
If accepts charge one match ban and a fine.

When subject to investigation, yes.

Re: Finley

Don't know what he said or did but that seems a tad harsh, also received a £850 fine & told to attend 'face to face education'

Re: Finley

Called Paul McShane a *****, referencing his Irish background (this is from the FA report and not something that I imply happened)

Interesting that he denied it initially, match officials stated they didn’t hear it. Aside from him later admitting it, if I hadn’t have done, where would the charge have gone....
