Re: Cash bid for Conference striker

Clayton Donaldson sent off today for violent conduct. Glad we didn't sign him now

Maybe it was his one-man protest at not being allowed to join the biggest little club in the world

£500, 000!?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha, that is quite possibly the most deranged and deluded thing I've ever heard in my life! How friggin' backwards are those Yorkies, eh?

Gary Roberts is miles better than Donaldson, and he went for half that. Looks like he'll just have to wait for his contract to run, 'cos nobody would pay that for that clown.

Mel Tottoh was better than Donaldson!

I heard that he was interested to start with cos we named an end after him, but reneged when told that it was to become named after somebody else.

HIBS boss John Collins today revealed the Easter Road outfit have snapped up York City's £500,000-rated striker Clayton Donaldson on a pre-contract deal.

The 6ft 1in hitman will join Collins' squad for the start of next season after agreeing a three-year deal with Hibs.
So York will not get a transfer fee, probably just something based upon his earnings. They will probably end up with less than the £25000 Stanley offered. What a shame.
