Don Bramley

Was told tonight that Don Bramley, former player & manager passed away last week & it's his funeral tomorrow, surprised there's been no mention on either fishy site or on here.
Thoughts are with his family & friends - RIP Sir, one of our own

Re: Don Bramley

Don Bramley was not only a good and hard footballer (I still have a scar on my knee to attest to this ), but was also a hard working and conscientious Manager for our club in its developing days..
He was also a kind and honest friend to many. However lately he had expressed to me his concern for different aspects of his well-being and his on-going health problems. Nevertheless I was saddened by hearing of his passing .... another cog in the life of Accrington Stanley come to stillness?.
My kindest thoughts will be with his family and friends at this time of loss.
