fan liaison rep required

I chatted with many different fans at the game on Saturday and via social media, and what is clear is we need someone to bridge the gap between the OSC, ultras, long distant fans, ethnic minority fans and disabled fans.

Many people have said I am the right person and they will recommend to Andy Holt he makes contact.

I am happy to help in whatever capacity, and want you all to know that as a model Stanley fan I will only have the clubs best interests at heart.

We do have a supporter Liaison Officer. It's me. You can find me outside reception at every match, meeting and greeting both home and away fans, dealing with complaints liaising with the police, supporters club ( attend most meetings ) and talking extensively to the directors and staff at the club to improve the match day experience. You'll also have seen me at the season ticket launch night. I don't get paid . I'm a volunteer as a lot of people are at the club.
The club pass on any complaints fans have or they come directly to me. I try to sort them out to the best of the my ability. The new owners do listen and are eager to work with fans groups. Every league club is obliged to have an SLO and I meet with other club SLOs and representatives of the football league.

I think the agreement was on the condition that you could show me a clean DBS certificate at the Exeter game then I would take it from there!

Anybody who needs an FA Enhanced DBS (CRB) clearance, as they have a role that requires this clearance; needs to contract the Club's Safeguarding Officer. Really don't think that the Unofficial Fan's Spokesperson fails under this criteria.

Happy to report our SLO has a completed DBS as part of this role and his trustee position on the Stanley Trust.

Due to confidentiality I can't disclose the percentage in votes between Davo and the person who came 2nd in the vote but I can assure you he was head and shoulders above 2nd!

Will be great ambassador if he can provide the said DBS!
