Re: Next Sat.

So sad...........
I really hope that our neighbours at Bury FC can be resurrected and get football back at Gigg Lane.
Anyone got any news on the possibility......?

Re: Next Sat.

Was under the impression Bury were getting legal advice with an intention of taking the EFL to court and as a consequence using a pending legal claim to push for a place in league 2 next season?

Re: Next Sat.

I read the other day that Steve Dale has until 11th February to pay £2 million to their creditors or the cva agreement will be cancelled & Bury FC will be liquidated - at least if that happens they'll be rid of him & can start to rebuild their club

Thanks Exile.
There is a lot of stuff about Bury FC on the net but it is difficult to pin down just what is the very ‘latest news’.

Thanks to Accy Mad too.
I had also picked up that Feb 11th could be a key date. Mr Day seems to be doing absolutely nothing to help the situation!

Re: Next Sat.

At the risk of upsetting Thread Keepers, saw this today regarding our friends at Bury...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51385634

Interestingly it states that “Despite not having a league to play in, Bury - who were founded in 1885 - still exist”.

Re: Next Sat.

they certainly need to get stuff sorted out quickly at bury. if they are not careful it may become too late for the pheonix club to get into any league next season therefore missing out on one season. seems more complex at gigg lane than it did at halifax and darlington when they started over again.
