folks in my neck of the woods are proudly telling me about Pompey's elevation. I simply reply "oh, d'ya mean Stanley reserves" - kills the conversation stone dead !

Why are people still dwelling onPaul Cook? he has gone, Move on, we may have to face him again next season if we can go up via the play offs.

Now it all comes out...cook will be the highest paid manager in LG1,doubling his wages of the nearest manager....but he didn't go for the money

So he left Pompey who have a new owner who wants to pump money into the club and get the club back to the premier league to join Wigan a club in the decline where managers don't last longer than a year because he has ambition? Oh do shut up Dav

We'll have you? When a guy says he's not leaving as he loves the club just 2 week ago what other reason would he have, he isn't stepping up a league or anything just morning to club that's on the decline for more money
