Stanley v Gillingham
Saturday 2nd Jan 2010   Pitch update at 9.30am Accrington Stanley have issued an early warning that we are expecting problems with our game going ahead this afternoon. Although the pitch has survived the overnight frost we have had heavy snowfall since around 8.30am this morning which looks as though it is here to stay. Although no official decision has been made Accrington Stanley would advise that supporters put their journeys on hold until after the match referee has made his official decision which is scheduled for 10am this morning.

Heavy snow now in Harwood and the roads are really slippy - I would set off as late as possible if I was coming from any distance.
Snow is about 2 inchs deep on the garden and pilling up even more. |

apparently cars can't even get up Dill Hall lane and theres not many going along the dual carriageway either
