Of you've got a particularly greasy window (kids hands are good at this) it may take a couple of goes before you get it clean properly. Grease streaks, even if you think you've got it all off. I hate cleaning mirrors and windows.

Went to Asda The young lady stacking the shelves said they didn't sell
kids hands so have not been able to try your tip Willow.
Would it work just as well with a kitten & some windowlene? (I did try a fully grown cat once but found it too large to get right into the corners).
